Across all stages of the design and construction, communication and collaboration between Hamish Gray from Gray Constructions and Brad Dennien from Vision Solutions were paramount
in ensuring the build aligned with the original concept renders. This detail-oriented approach enabled them to deliver on the project’s goal of achieving elegant and simple architecture.
Natural light was a key element to the design. By employing 3D modelling, Vision Solutions was able to analyse the sun’s paths at any time of the year and strategically position the windows
and doors to direct sunlight where it was most desirable.
To achieve this, Vision Solutions installed Series 618 MAGNUM™ Sliding doors throughout. These precision-built doors not only flood the main kitchen and living areas with natural light but also span the full height of the 3-metre ceilings, all while meeting energy standards of the climate zone. Complementing this, Series 400 Single Glazed CentreGLAZE™ commercial framing, with fixed panels and louvre inserts seamlessly connects the outdoor swimming pool to the home’s interior, further enhancing its exposure to natural light.
With thoughtful design and careful craftsmanship, this magnificent home achieves well-ventilated, open, and light- filled spaces, creating a comfortable living environment and a sense of intimacy despite the home’s generous scale.
