The client envisioned a home defined by elegant simplicity, with a focus on minimalism and an unbroken connection to Kangaroo Valley’s breathtaking landscape that surrounds the property.

To achieve this, Series 758 High Performance Sliding Doors were installed in the main living and dining areas. These doors meet at corner points to provide a seamless, full-glass view of the valley stretching across the entire length of the home. Recessed rails and a flush transition between the indoor spaces and the surrounding decking further enhance the connection to the outdoors.

To complement the design, Series 804 Thermally Broken Fixed Lights have been installed throughout, increasing natural light while delivering low U-Values to meet the client’s energy efficiency goals. This range minimises heat and cold transfer year-round, helping to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature in both Summer and Winter. Series 804 Thermally Broken Fixed Lights are up to 33% more energy efficient than standard double-glazed windows, offering improved thermal performance without compromising on aesthetics.

As rural living continues to grow in appeal, homeowners are increasingly drawn to its slower pace, open landscapes, and sense of tranquility.

Creating spaces that embrace calm, connection, and breathing room is becoming an essential element of contemporary living.
